L'une des rares formations à avoir dépassé les frontières de Slovénie (ex-Yougoslavie). Influencé par New Order, Kraftwerk et l'avant-garde viennoise et berlinoise, ce groupe de provocateurs joue sur le terrain douteux de l'ambiguïté en utilisant toute une symbolique extrémiste (aussi bien stalinienne qu'hitlérienne ou mussolinienne). Inaudible pour certains, novatrice pour d'autres, leur musique mélange rock industriel, techno, détournements situationnistes… et satanisme ! Laibach s'est signalé par des reprises iconoclastes des Beatles (« Let It Be ») et des Stones (« Sympathy For The Devil », bien sûr), difficilement reconnaissables.

Formé à Flensburg en 2011 à l'initiative d'Hartmut Krech, producteur et patron du label Elephant Music, et baptisé d'après le fameux tube d'Hugues Aufray de 1961, l'ensemble de six musiciens allemands Santiano propose une recette mêlant chansons de marin, musique folk européenne et pop contemporaine. Dès 2012, le groupe livre Bis ans ende der welt, premier effort studio atteignant le sommet des charts à domicile et rapidement décliné en version live. Tandis qu'il conquiert le reste du marché germanophone, le groupe creuse son sillon, livrant notamment le livre musical pour enfant König der piraten et revenant en 2018 avec Haithabu - Im auge des sturms, son quatrième recueil studio. En 2019, c'est avec la troisième captation live de sa carrière que Santiano revient, cette fois dans le cadre de l'émission MTV Unplugged.

Udo Lindenberg (born 17 May 1946) is a German singer, drummer, and composer. Lindenberg started his musical career as a drummer. In 1969, he founded his first band Free Orbit and also appeared as a studio and guest musician (with Michael Naura, Knut Kiesewetter). In 1970 he collaborated as a drummer with jazz saxophonist Klaus Doldinger in Munich. In 1971 Passport, a band founded by Doldinger, released its first album, with Lindenberg on drums. He also played drums for the theme music for the German TV series Tatort. The first LP by the jazz rock group Emergency was released in 1971 but met with little commercial success.

This is the new instalment of Soul Jazz Records' ground-breaking Deutsche Elektronische Musik series, 'a near-definitive guide to some of the world's most extraordinary music' (The Guardian). This new Soul Jazz release features many of the classic German electronic and Krautrock groups from the 1970s & 80s - including Can, Amon Düül II, Harmonia, Conrad Schnitzler, Agitation Free, Roedelius - as well as a host of lesser known artists such as Dzyan, Klaus Weiss, Gruppe Between and many more. Deutsche Elektronische rarities unearthed on the album include Kalacakra (whose fan-base included the great Moondog!) and their superb 'Nearby Shiras,' taken from their super-rare spiritual/psychedelic private press concept album Crawling to Lhasa, from 1972. Deutsche Elektronische 4 includes a wealth of German electronic experimental artists - the seminal pioneering group Harmonia (Roedelius, Moebius and Michael Rother), avant-garde guru Conrad Schnitzler as well as lesser known synthetic artists such as Klaus Weiss, Deutsche Wertarbeit, E.M.A.K. Rammstein were one of the first bands to emerge within the Neue Deutsche Härte genre, with their debut album leading the music press to coin the term, and their style of music has generally had a positive reception from music critics. The soundtrack for THE TREASURE OF THE WHITE FALCONS (Der Schatz der weissen Falken) was composed by award winning composer Marcel Barsotti and recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra under the artistic direction of Allan Wilson. The soundtrack was re-released on the new label TUNESforMOVIES. Orchestrators were Enrique Ugarte and Marcel Barsotti himself. The melodic, spooky and emotional film music masterfully accentuates the drama about three friends, who had a creepy adventure in the forest.
